Nearly everybody has a snippet of a personal memory about relatives who aren't with us any longer. They may remember being told a story about where their family came from, or the story may be no more than a barely remembered conversation they overheard when they were children. It doesn't really matter, almost any story and memory can be important, from the color of someone's hair and the decorations in a grandparent's house at Christmas, to talk about a distinguished ancestor or 2nd cousin.
