evidence for a first marriage from Philadelphia's The Public Ledger, March 12 1849 which contains a death announcement for Ann, wife of Cornelius Small, died March 11 at 23 years old. Funeral to begin at her husband's residence at "Col. Alexander's place, Germantown", from where it will proceed to Kensington.

Ann? married Cornelius Small-[93] [MRIN:46] before 1849. (Cornelius Small-[93] was born cir 1821 in Ireland, died on 19 Aug 1877 in Phila. and was buried on 22 Aug 1877 in New Cathedral Cemetery, Phila, PA (O-2-24).)
